Lisa Schwarz, RDN and LD, brings a wealth of expertise as the Dietitian at Meadowlark, where she plays a crucial role in ensuring the nutritional well-being of the residents. Lisa's responsibilities encompass facilitating comprehensive nutritional assessments, developing care plans, and overseeing documentation to address the unique dietary needs of each resident. Her commitment extends to providing valuable nutritional consultations, fostering a holistic approach to health and wellness.

Joining the Meadowlark team in September 2014, Lisa brings a robust educational background to her role. She graduated from Kansas State University in 1990 with a bachelor’s degree in dietetics and further enhanced her qualifications by obtaining the Certified Diabetes Educator certification in 2011. Lisa's professional journey includes significant roles as a Renal Dietitian at Flint Hill Dialysis and as a Diabetes Educator for the Diabetes Center at Mercy Regional Health Center, showcasing her dedication to specialized areas of nutrition and health.

Lisa and her husband, Stuart, have made their home outside of Wamego, where they enjoy playing golf and pickleball. Their two sons, Brett and Braden, are both K-State graduates.

Lisa enjoys entering the households at Meadowlark Hills, witnessing the creation of special meals and the bustling activity that transforms the kitchen into the 'heart of the home.' Lisa's passion for nutrition, coupled with her community involvement and personal connections, makes her an invaluable asset to the Meadowlark team and a trusted advocate for the well-being of its residents.
