All Meadowlark and Passport member ladies are invited to attend the Ladies Luncheon in the Event Center on Thursday, Sept. 12, at 11:30 a.m.
The program for the day will feature Bob Crawford as speaker. During Bob’s 40-plus years as a reporter for CBS News, he personally has interviewed many nationally-known politicians and covered many historical events. The topic for Thursdays luncheon will be “Misconceptions about the news media and the responsibilities of a reporter.” He will welcome any questions you may have.
Yvonne Crawford and Janet Walters are your hostesses for the day. The menu for the luncheon includes a cheese quiche and cucumber salad, with Andes Mint ice cream for dessert for $13.
