Olympian Coming to Manhattan

The Gender, Women, and Sexuality Studies Advisory Board cordially invites you to join Olympian, Jackie Joyner-Kersee who will be speaking in honor of women’s history month.

The winner of three gold, one silver, and two bronze Olympic medals from Track and Field, Jackie is a boundary breaker both in terms of race and gender. She actively advocates on behalf of racial equality and women’s rights, children’s education, health issues, and social reform. She will be speaking at the Bill Snyder Family Stadium on Thursday, March 16, at 5:30 p.m. Guests will need to RSVP by Thursday March 9. Dinner tickets are $75. The attire is business casual.
