Fred Daniels’ Celebration of Life
Rather than an answer a question this week, I would like to let you all know about the celebration of life open house planned for Saturday, Feb. 8, from 1 to 4 p.m. at the American Legion to honor Fred Daniels. Fred passed away Dec. 6, 2013. He worked as a member of our Maintenance Team for 17 years. Fred had recently retired from his position in November. For those of us fortunate enough to know and work with Fred, we certainly miss his smile and sense of humor. Fred was a dedicated family man and brought his wonderful sense of humor and wit to his interactions. Fred was a great storyteller and often had a great joke to share. Fred served for three years in the United States Army during the Vietnam War and was discharged as a Specialist 4. He was a member of the Veterans of Foreign Wars, American Legion and the Pulmonary Fibrosis Support Group.
We have met new people who have had diverse backgrounds and have found them to be new friends which we can share our experiences with.
